Due to the factory suspension design, roll centre correction is not the thing for the Jazz/Fit (GD3) chassis. What, then are the opportunities for improving the front suspension? Well, increasing camber, caster and also bump travel. Once we had this understanding we jumped into designing and manufacturing our take on the best possible front strut top for the GD3 chassis. We decided to forgo having any adjustments in the strut top for a fixed offset design. This has the benefit of being low profile, offering a significant bump travel gain. Our strut top increases the amount of caster the car has, and the impact on the toe curve is small but in the direction of being more preferable. A maximum of -4 deg front camber is possible when combined with camber bolts, although we target -3 as our preferred setting. We believe this will work with a range of coilovers that use an m12 thread at the top of their strut.

Notes:
- The customer is responsible for ensuring their coilover is compatible with this strut top. We recommend removing a front strut and checking the critical dimensions before ordering.
- You will need to adjust your ride height and get an alignment as part of the installation process.
In standard form, the GD chassis does not provide the facility to adjust the rear alignment settings. However, for performance driving and motorsport, real handling benefits can be obtained by setting up the rear wheels to make the best use of modern performance tires. The GD chassis was not marketed as a performance vehicle and has a conservative alignment in standard form, leaving room for improvement.
Our product includes four shims. Two are designed to add -1 degree camber but not alter the existing toe setting and the other two have a combined effect of -1 degree camber and 0.4deg toe change. This toe adjustment can either add toe in or toe out depending on the installation orientation.
We recommend knowing your existing alignment settings as a prerequisite to deciding which shim configuration you should install.
We do not recommend stacking the shims.
There are two different rear trailing arm assemblies in the global market of 2001-2008 Honda Jazz/Fit GD. It’s important that you select the correct chassis variant in the drop-down menu above.
