This product is designed for use with aftermarket engine control units (ECUs) it is not compatible with OEM Honda ECUs (which means Hondata S100/200/300)
It is intended to replace a distributor and provide a home trigger signal to the ECU once per camshaft rotation.
We believe that in 2023, the advancements in ECU technology and software strongly justify the cost and effort to install a stand-alone ECU to your vehicle over using an OEM ECU.
Honda distributors from the 90s are over 20 years old and for all intents and purposes, discontinued.
We wanted the ability to have Honda OEM reliability in our trigger system; we wanted a solution where spare parts and replacements would be easy to source.
From that concept was born the idea to retrofit Honda K-series (actually many modern Honda engines) cam angle sensors onto the older D-Series and B-series engines
