Fuel surge can be a pain. But what’s even more of a pain is purchasing upgrades to resolve the issue, only to find yourself still at square one. It was this experience that led Honed to develop its Bosch Fuel Pump and Anti-Surge Mount Kit.
Having purchased upgraded fuel pumps for our Hondas, we found we couldn’t be confident in the authenticity of the pump and, in some cases, the pumps were supplied with pick up filters that did not suit Honda fuel tanks.
Our kit includes a high quality genuine Bosch fuel pump, rated from 100-400bhp (75-300kW) and compatible with E85. To prevent there being any issues with installation, there’s a Honda-specific fuel pump mounting kit designed by Honed and a correctly-size and orientated pick up filter to suit Honda tanks.
Also included are an E85-compatible in-tank fuel hose and a Honed return extension hose, which ensures return fuel makes it into the open bowl and maximises the return fuel flow available to the pick up filter. While this will not eliminate fuel surge, it will delay the level at which it occurs.
The kit is suitable for EG (1992-95) and EK (1996-2001) generation Civics as well as DC2 (1994-2001) Integras. To learn more about the Honed anti-surge kit and its benefits, check out Grant’s video below.
