We felt that we could offer the S2000 market a rear toe tuning product that they could trust was developed to be a beneficial upgrade in every aspect. It took some time, but we achieved what we set out to do.
The notable differences between the Honed product and existing products are:
- Honed provides set-up instructions (i.e. you don’t have to measure and adjust the toe curve yourself, you can simply set it to our recommendations!)
- Bearing quality, we supply premium rod ends.
- Turnbuckle, our turnbuckle is steel which is significantly stronger than some of the aluminium offerings.
What does the Honed product do?
The great value in our product is that we have done the R&D for you; we have measured the rear toe curve of the S2000 chassis in various configurations and have applied our knowledge to determine what the beneficial pivot point positions are for the common modified vehicle set ups.
To aid in the repeatability of the suspension geometry from vehicle to vehicle, we provide lock-out plates that centre the inboard pivot point of the toe arm in the factory subframe. The static toe is then adjusted by changing the length of the toe arm.
