The kit will give firm and consistent pedal feel for high performance and track driving, without the poor feel that the brake booster gives.  You can brake later and more consistently with better feel for the locking threshold of the tyres.  The kit provides the correct pedal ratio for comfortable pedal effort, though keep in mind that the brake pedal effort is substantially more than with a booster in place.  An OEM master cylinder is used for reliability and safety.
To install this kit in your car you will need to source a master cylinder from a Honda Civic 1996 - 2000 (EK generation)
  • We recommend a 13/16" master cylinder for S2000 applications
  • A RHD master cylinder works well for LHD applications, and vice versa, due to the location of the outlets on the OEM S2000 master when compared with the EK type
We source our master cylinders from a local pick-a-part wreckers where they can be had for a reasonable price but of course you can also source new from Honda.
You will also have to make new brakes lines from the master cylinder to your ABS unit, though the OEM lines do have sufficient length to be bent into place if you prefer.
