Caliper mounting kit to suit Porsche 986 Boxster calipers mounted to ’88-’00 Civic, Integra and CR-X models which were factory fitted with 262mm/10.3″ front discs in 4×100 wheel bolt mounting pattern.  See below for more detailed fitment information.

This kit allows you to mount the OEM quality Brembo 4 piston caliper from the 1st generation Porsche Boxster. The caliper kit provides correct balance with the OE rear disc brakes and proportioning valve, no need to modify the hydraulic system. Works perfectly with our booster delete and fits most 15" wheels. This caliper kit will provide solid and predictable pedal feel, combine it with our air guide kits for a lightweight setup that will resist fade even on powerful K swapped cars.

Kit includes:

  • Adapter brackets to mount Porsche caliper to the factory caliper mounts on the knuckle, no modifications required
  • Adapter to suit the OEM 10mm banjo fitting on the brake hose with new copper sealing washers
  • M12 10.9 Hardware to mount the adaptor to the knuckle
  • M12 10.9 Hardware to mount the caliper to the adaptor

Not included and required:

    • 1 pair 986 Porsche Boxster base model calipers, with pads. Casting/part numbers 986.351.422 and 986.351.421
    • 1 pair R53 Mini Cooper S JCW brake discs, 2006MY. 294mm diameter.

Porsche 986 Brake Caliper to Honda 262 Knuckle Template

Important notes:

  • The calipers used must be the front calipers from the base model 986 Boxster, the piston sizing in the rear calipers will not work correctly though they are nearly indistinguishable externally
  • The kit retains your existing flexible brake hoses. In some situations OEM type rubber brake hoses will not have enough slack to connect to the new location of the caliper inlet which is slightly different to the OE sliding caliper.  Aftermarket braided hoses typically present no issue as they allow more articulation in their mounting brackets.

Fitment information:

This kit is designed for the large hub/bearing type 4x100 suspension knuckle as fitted to many models from '88 to '00.   The correct knuckle has 262mm ventilated discs which are 19mm thick as OEM fitment.  This kit will not work on knuckles originally fitted with 242mm/9.5" brakes, we have a separate kit for that application found here.  Given the wide variety of different model and trim levels that the kit suits throughout the world, use the reference dimensions in the figure below to check your knuckle:

Dimension 'A' is the approximate distance of the centre of the OE caliper mounting tabs from the centreline of the hub.  Dimension 'B' is the diameter of the centre spigot on which the brake disc is located.

    Honestly one of the best products!!!! But you have to work on the international shipping. I paid for the faster shipping that you offer and it was to much for the size of the package. And dont take me wrong. I will be happy to pay it. But not for Australia post. You have to use DHL internacional. I build a lot of hondas. But sometimes on road racing cars we need faster shippings.
