Caliper mounting kit to suit Porsche 986 Boxster calipers mounted to 1988-2000 Civic, Integra and CR-X models which were factory fitted with 262mm/10.3″ front discs in 4×100 wheel bolt mounting pattern.  See below for more detailed fitment information.

This kit allows you to mount the OEM Brembo four-piston caliper from the first-generation (986) Porsche Boxster on a variety of golden era Hondas. The caliper kit provides the correct brake balance with the OE rear disc brakes and proportioning valve, with no need to modify the hydraulic system. It works perfectly with our booster delete with solid and predictable pedal feel and fits most 15-inch wheels. Combine it with our air guide kits for a lightweight setup that will resist fade, even on powerful K-swapped cars.

Kit includes:

  • Adapter brackets to mount Porsche caliper to the factory caliper mounts on the knuckle, no modifications required
  • Adapter to suit the OEM 10mm banjo fitting on the brake hose with new copper sealing washers
  • M12 10.9 Hardware to mount the adaptor to the knuckle
  • M12 10.9 Hardware to mount the caliper to the adaptor

Not included and required:

    • 1 pair 986 Porsche Boxster base model calipers with pads. Casting/part numbers 986.351.422 and 986.351.421
    • 1 pair R53 Mini Cooper S JCW brake discs, 2006MY. 294mm diameter.

The following wheels have been confirmed to fit with the brake kit. Whilst we’ve made every effort to ensure the below list is correct, please be aware that variance in fitments may occur, so please check the clearance with your own wheel before driving. Enkei RPF1 15×8″+28 – 5mm spacer required, caliper may need to be clearanced slightly to avoid interference/debris between barrel of wheel
Kosei K1 15×7″ +25 – No spacer

Important notes:

  • The calipers used must be the front calipers from the base model 986 Boxster. The piston sizing in the rear calipers will not work correctly though they are nearly indistinguishable externally
  • The kit retains your existing flexible brake hoses. In some situations OEM-type rubber brake hoses will not have enough slack to connect to the new location of the caliper inlet, which is slightly different to the OE sliding caliper.  Aftermarket braided hoses typically present no issue as they allow more articulation in their mounting brackets.

Fitment information:

This kit is designed for the large hub/bearing type 4×100 suspension knuckle as fitted to many models from 1988 to 2000. The correct knuckle has 262mm ventilated discs which are 19mm thick as OEM fitment. This kit will not work on knuckles originally fitted with 242mm/9.5″ brakes; we have a separate kit for that application found here
