S2000 Splitter Mount Kit

This kit includes components to mount a splitter blade on the front of a Honda S2000.

The purpose of a Splitter is to generate downforce at the front of your car. This is desirable and beneficial for the following reasons:

• At speeds where the aerodynamic loads are significant, a splitter will increase front end grip, allowing for higher cornering speeds and later braking points.
• If you have a rear wing, a splitter can balance aerodynamic forces on the chassis but at the front of the car.

What you need to know about Honed’s Splitter Mount Kit

• Bracket design offers support for the splitter blade during install
• Bracket design allows for tolerance variation in S2000 front subframe.
• The shape of the brackets make it easy to align the blade
• The blade is securely fastened from the underside
• The design is such that the mounting fasteners are not susceptible to damage
• The plates that mount to the chassis are slotted to allow 40mm of height adjustment
• The brackets have angle of attack adjustment (0-1-2 degrees)
• The brackets will typically deform before damage occurs to the chassis of the vehicle.
